Ismael Franco Rivas
Partner and Director of the Criminal and Labor Dept.
He operates both in national and in international panoramas, and always in close connection with his activity as Teacher of reputable Law institutions and all of this in order to concentrate his expertise and provide precise and imaginative legal solutions to each client as required. He is a lawyer with extensive experience in labor and criminal law, and therefore allows him to have a multidisciplinary and comprehensive vision for the resolution of legal problems. As labour counselor, he focuses on the strategic advice to big companies and SMEs, combined with procedural performances in all social jurisdictions. In the Criminal area, he is specialized in general Criminal Law and international economic-criminal law, with extensive judicial experience before the Courts. His experience in legal advice in the Trade Sector and the Private Security should also be highlighted.
Academic Training
Degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid, having obtained the European Erasmus Scholarship at the University at La Sapienza (Rome). Master in International Trade Law (LLM)at the Nottingham University (England), together with the Master of Legal Practice at the Law School “Federico Castro” and Master in Criminal Law also at the same academic institution.
Teaching Activity
Since 2006 he is a Professor at the Legal Business School, Institute of Law and Business (ISDE) in different Postgraduate courses (Master of Law International (MAI), Master of International Law and Sports Management, LLM in International Sport Law).
He is also a Professor teaching the Access to the Advocacy Master at the Carlos III University and ISDE (traineeship).
He also teaches at the Practicum Procedural Course, through the partnership of this law firm with the National Distance Studies University (UNED).
He has been author of many conferences and publications on Labor and Social Security Law, as well as economic crimes.
